Well where does one start!!!! Over the last few months it feels like I've been bashing my head against the wall. Times have been tough here at home - on all fronts - and I have had to take stock and prioritize my life to get everything into a meaningful sequence. Now I am going to put to practice what I am always preaching to everyone else and tackle each task with passion and determination.........

As most of you are aware I have managed to make contact with the Mig 23 pilot Maj Rivas!
Both of us are equally excited to set up a 'Reconciliation' meeting and he has accepted - in principle - an invitation to come to South Africa.
Naturally funds are an issue for all of us so I have taken the liberty to set up a fund-raising campaign to see if we can raise the monies to get him out here!
If you feel you can contribute then please follow this link http://igg.me/at/project-dreamwings/x/3540964 and donate otherwise just spread the word around for please!!!
Alternately you can deposit/transfer the funds into the Power of 10 banking account with the reference RIVAS!

The aircraft had to be moved!
Unfortunately we were forced to move the aircraft from our hangars at Wonderboom airport. The increase in the rent for the hangar was just beyond our reach so we had no other optyion but to move it.
We were very fortunate that the SAAF museum has given us a little corner in which the aircraft is currently standing. We are unable to work on the aircraft at the hangar as we need permission from the authorities to make use of the floor space we require.
We are busy negotiating with the SAAF and hopefully we will have an answer soon.
